Hi Robin!
I just had to write and say: um...not eating sugar is the best thing that ever happened to me. I have lost 11.5 lbs in 3 weeks. (Ryan said last Saturday "Where was this no-sugar diet 5 years ago? We could've had a lot less tears if you'd figured this out then.") I feel great. It's not even that hard. Like, not eating sugar is hard 30 minutes a day, and the rest of the 23 1/2 hours I feel awesome because 1)I am not cycling through sugar highs and lows 2) I'm feeling full because I don't waste calories on a nutritionally purposeless food 3) I've got self-control. I've cut back on dairy a little, and upped my veg/fruit servings to 9 per day (Thanks to green smoothies which I'm addicted to). So what do you think? Is it just all about the sugar?

What I ate for Breakfast today:
- Green Smoothie (duh)
- Oatmeal with blueberries
- 1 bowl of this soup
- 1 toasted pita (dipped into the soup)
- 1 banana with p-nut butter
and finally, I was satisfied. I was hungry this morning! Really hungry!

What I ate? Green smoothie, whole wheat pancake with natural peanut butter and sugar free syrup.
